Good morning all,

Just a quick reminder for our regular meet-up this afternoon, 3pm at the FOLD nursery.

We have some work to do weeding / taking care of seedlings and if time allows we'll start planning the installation of some amazing signs to go up at Freshwater and Robe Lakes. The signs are a result of a collaboration with Kangaroo Inn area school and I'm attaching the image below!

We've also got some nice canvas bags from SA Friends of Parks to hand out, celebrating 40 years running for the Friends of Parks program.

Hope to see you this afternoon!

Good afternoon all!

Hope your weekend is going well. Thanks to everyone that came out last week to clean all the campgrounds.

With the big swell the last couple days, thinking it will be a great day to clean plastic off the Gums beach.

We'll meet at 3pm at the nursery as usual, and head out together. Hope to see you there!

WIth all the best.

Good morning all,

I hope your new year is coming along very well so far, I know it's been a busy start to the year for everyone! Lots of activity in the park and in our precious coastal areas. Thanks to everyone who have been taking care of the nursery the last couple weeks, whilc I've been out of town.

Easing back into our weekly meetings today with a clean-up in the park campgrounds. Anyone who would like to join, we'll be meeting at the FOLD nursery at 3pm and will head out from there.

Thanks very much and hope to see you there!

It is summer, the sun has been hot and at the beginning of January we found the outdoor sprinkler in the outside area of the nursery was not working.  We immediately moved the plants inside the shaded area where the automatic splinker was working - we tested it. The Wells boys, Andrew, Massimo and Rinaldo, and Angela stopped by the nursery every other day for a couple of weeks to check on the seedlings and give them an extra watering as needed.  Happy to say that the majority of the plants have survived. The following Sundays this little group worked at the nursery keeping the plants free of weeds, watering them, and cleaning up a bit.

A huge thank you to Andrew, Massimo, Rinaldo and Angie for their time in helping these seedlings survive. 💕🌱 🌳 👏 💪 😎 ☀️

Good morning all,

Just a quick note that, with the Christmas Parade on this afternoon, we will skip our regular work session today.

We have a couple projects to do, including a track maintenance walk of Fresh Water Lake and some post painting. Let me know if you're interested in working on either of these during the week and we will organize!

Thanks to all coming out for work sessions over the last couple weeks. Great work done on the new dune protection barrier @ Matches beach and the newly renovated Gums campground spots.

For anyone out and about this afternoon, I will be at the Nursery at 3 for a little while, just tidying up and weeding the seedlings, etc.

With many thanks.

Installed dune protection at the back of the Evans Cave beach

volunteers working

Hi all, sorry for the late note on this week's work session.  Subject to major weather issues, we ARE going to meet up and continue working on the dune protection at the back of the Evans Cave beach. Meeting at the FOLD nursery at 3pm and we'll go from there!

Thanks.

Roland

Good morning all,

Hope your weekend is going well so far. Just a quick reminder for our work session this afternoon.

We'll meet at the nursery at 3pm as usual, we've got fencing to install in Evans Cave beach area, or some work around the nursery getting seedlings moved into the shade (and weeding, etc!).

Hope to see you there.

Thanks. Roland

Good evening all,

Just a quick reminder for our work session tomorrow. We've got a couple track / dune fencing projects at Evan Caves beach we're hoping to do.

We had a great turn out last weekend down at Errington's, thanks to everyone who came along and braved the windy conditions (picture attached!)

Tomorrow we'll meet at the FOLD nursery at 3pm as usual, and head out from there.

Thanks. Roland
