Just a quick reminder for our regular Sunday work session tomorrow, and a couple more updates below.
Sunday work session: We'll continue on with more planting at the FOLD nursery tomorrow. We'll be focusing on coastal species like Olearia axillaris (coastal rosemary) and Leucophyta brownii (cushion bush). Getting started as usual at 3pm.

For our regular work session, we're planning to do a short beach clean-up at the northern end of the park and should be done around 4pm. Meeting at the FOLD nursery at 3pm as usual for this one.
Good afternoon everyone.
For our weekly work session tomorrow we'll be pruning / trimming along the Freshwater Lake walking trail. We'll meet at the FOLD nursery at 3pm as usual, and head out together from there.
Also, we're looking for a couple volunteers to help Tuesday & Wednesday this week with polygala survey and control in/near the park. This is part of our weed control project alongside the Burrandies Indigenous crew and the DEW. Please let me know if you're interested in helping either/both of these days!

Good evening all,
Just a quick reminder for our regular work session tomorrow. With all the rain this week it looks like we can continue revegetation planting for at least another week.
So, we'll either be heading to Lake St. Clair to plant out a couple trays of tree seedlings, or to a smaller reveg area in the south portion of Little Dip (and a little track and beach clean-up while we're there). Meet at the FOLD nursery at 3pm as usual, and head out together from there.

A quick reminder for our work session tomorrow. We're planning to head out to Lake St Clair to plant out Tea Tree and/or Sheoak seedlings (for what will likely be the last big planting session for this season's reveg efforts). We'll meet at the FOLD nursery at 3pm as usual, and head out together from there.
Next week, we're planning a beach clean-up north of Long Gully, where we haven't been for a while. Should be fun :)

Good evening all, just a quick reminder for our work session tomorrow.
We've made some good progress on beach and track cleanups, track fence repairs and reveg in the Matches beach area, and we should be able to finish up with the track fence repairs tomorrow. We'll meet up at 3pm at the FOLD nursery as usual, and then leave from there together.

This week we continued on from last weeks work behind Matches beach. We got some foredune reveg in and finished the clean-up of the southern half of Matches. Great crew and great work!
